MANAGEMENT TEAM

First Journey Consulting, which is owned by Thomas Schoen and Sundance Topham, evolved from Native Heritage Travel, a company in existence for almost a decade. Specializing in the cultural tourism market, First Journey Consulting has developed three unique tourism ventures: The X'ats'ull Heritage Village and the St. George Hotel and McMahon's Confectionery in Barkerville Historic Town.

The Award winning X'ats'ull Heritage Village is one of BC's premier Native Tourism sites and is owned and operated by the Soda Creek First Nation. The Historic St. George Hotel is Canada's only 1880's Heritage Hotel, located in the heart of a living museum. McMahon's Confectionery is a successful retail business operating in Barkerville Historic Town. All three businesses were developed from the planning stages to completion by members of the consulting group.

Sundance Topham currently works in an administrative capacity for the District of Wells, and Thomas Schoen is currently running McMahon's Confectionery in Barkerville Historic Town.
